The Level 3 Award in HACCP for Catering qualification is aimed at anyone who works in a food business and is involved in the design and implementation of a HACCP system within a catering business.
This course provides candidates with an understanding of the requirement to implement a HACCP system, the steps involved prior to implementing a HACCP system, and the elements of a HACCP system such as hazards, controls, identification of CCP’s, monitoring and corrective actions, how to implement a HACCP-based food safety management system, and how to verify HACCP-based procedures.

Course Details
Level 3 Award in HACCP for Catering (RQF). One day course with regulated exam.
This course is suitable for:
Anyone that is involved in implementing HACCP based procedures in a catering environment, or anyone involved in supervising food safety procedures.
Suitable for head chefs, sous chefs, food business supervisors and managers, food safety auditors.
Duration and assessment:
This course is a one-day course and is assessed by a multiple choice exam with a pass mark of 18/30.
A disinction is awarded for 24/30 and above.
The remote training option is blended learning; a precourse workbook to complete prior to a 5 hour Zoom session before an online exam.

The Level 3 Award in HACCP for Catering can be run at your premises, or remotely on Zoom with remote invigilation. We also run regular open courses on Zoom.
For remote training, a workbook is sent out to each candidate to complete before the course. The course is run on Zoom at a time to suit you, with the exam completed online using a remote invigilation app. Results are available immediately, certificates are emailed the same day (subject to delays due to invigilation checks).
