Getting a low food hygiene rating can be very costly. 50% of respondents to an FSA survey said they check a food hygiene rating¹. A low rating can mean lost business and a bad reputation.
This course can give your team an understanding of how to achieve and maintain a 5 food hygiene rating.

This course is suitable for:
Anyone that is involved in working in, running or managing a food business.
The course is ideal food chefs, food business supervisors, assistant managers, managers and anyone else who may impact a food hygiene rating

This course is a three-hour awareness course, delivered as an in-house course either at your premises or remotely on Zoom

Course Content
The course content will enable candidates to:
- have an understanding of how a food business’ food hygiene rating is assessed
- understand the 3 components of a food hygiene rating
- describe hygiene, structural and confidence in management requirements to acheive a 5 food hygiene rating
- describe the process to apply for a re-rating in the event of a low score
- be able to carry out a food hygiene ratings self audit on their food business
